It lies hidden from view, covered in grime and dust Once polished, it will shine lustrous, rid of all dirt. Time and neglect have more or less dimmed it It needs urgent scrubbing and cleansing, I must admit With ardent effort, its sheen can once more be restored Grace me to polish it and make it shine, my Lord.
