After All This Time of Being On My Own
After all this time of being on my own I’ve been going through things Over and over again in my mind And I keep wondering If there was anything that I could’ve done To prevent everything From going so wrong So that I could’ve turned things back around Because I thought you were the one And that’s why I kept holding on But after all this time That has come and gone I had to learn How to get back up again After falling down so many times And hurting like I had been But you know one thing that it has done After getting through all the confusion It has made me a stronger person And if I do have to spend the rest of my life Being on my own and all alone Without anyone else around I know in my mind that I’ll be just fine Because at least I can say that I was able to love someone Completely and more deeply then I had ever loved anyone
