Independance
There is some way to be more independent. Out here. I wish I could reach the laundry today. No one told me how. If I were more independent? Maybe I wouldn’t be pacing in front of the window at night. The curtains drawn, shadows pacing. I could be two people, or a person with a job. I could be a person with a job. But I’m just a person. Outer space, empty drawers, and the tv is on all night. I can’t afford my car anymore. There is some way to be more independent. Or less, and less. If I had a stable job, I would probably go to it. My shadow is aching, and pacing. The hospital is a little crowded. There’s not much to do, or even read. They let me fill my own water. I watch and laugh. We have tv. It’s as if jobs don’t exist in here! Get yelled at all day, but they keep me. Safe in here. There is some way to be more independent. Out there. But jobs aren’t real. My new shadow told me so.
