Shadows in the Street
There is a shadow moving in the street Hanging over the people you meet It has no hands elbow or knees but but it is moving swiftly in the air and it is causing the people to fear a warm energy is bursting out of the sun and the people are flocking the beaches to absorbing the strange heat, they are rubbing sun cream on each other’s back while the Perverts on top of the log try to get a glimpse what is underneath the women’s frock but the shadows above the heavens divert the danger back into the sea and the energy in the sun pays its due to earth’s before the day was done and I watch the mayday orchestra filled the earth with wonder Look for the shadow over you It is the miracle that is guiding you It sees and feels your pain and you will never be brought to shame Lift your hands towards the sky and listen to the rhythm of the planes passing by They are buried deep in the clouds but You can see the lines that tells you that they are around But the mean men are gone out of the town Morning spreading fortunes of hope While midday clears away mountains of doubt And the ship that is anchored by the sea waits patiently for thee And destiny reveals the shadow that is chasing after thee.
