The Cook
“The Cook” How can I write you a letter when we haven’t even met? Maybe I could take you out to see the sunset. We had only one conversation and I don’t even know your name. Just maybe you're my inspiration and I’m to blame. You said that you like to cook. You're full of recipes in a book. Maybe one day we could walk hand in hand. We have crossed paths in the sand. I wonder where you may be. Somewhere creating something tasty. You have the patience to serve others. With craftsmanship, you are creative in November. I am just sitting in the wind while time passes me by. Just maybe you could give me a chance so we can fly. Your gentleness is like reflections through the rain. Maybe we could be together one day. We could go out and drink coffee. Making new memories like spices and toffee. This is a letter from me to you just to say hello. Your smile is like a unique glow. Maybe your life is parallel with mine. No matter what you're cooking, it's so divine. I hope you like this letter I wrote to you. Maybe we could share some cheesecake from the menu. In this poem, I just wanted to say I care. While I sit alone by the candles in a chair, I would look up and you are there. Just like the sound of a piano, Across the table, you are the one. No more loneliness for me. In the shadows you appear, to set me free
