WISH
If happiness were tangible, It would wear your texture. If beauty were alive, It would mirror your face. If love lived among us, It would breathe with your soul. If love stories were paintings, You’d be an art of devotion. You gave me hope— Hope for tomorrow. And if one day we part ways, I will forget you, piece by piece. You would be my final memory to lose, A feeling of ecstasy, A fragment of my life’s essence. Even death wouldn’t separate us; I’d enter another realm, Hoping to find you again. What is pain when I see you? The truth is crystal clear— Your presence is my treasure. What are tears when I see you? Perhaps they’re of joy, For all the days we will share. What are their words when I see you? Good or bad, I am deaf to them. I’ve given you my entirety. What is goodbye when I see you? Even death holds no power; Together here, and in the hereafter
