Growing pains
The clues Words in the news Protest Unrest Angry people everywhere Seems nobody does care Words flung Stung Full of dung Promises made In time fade Wanting a better day Just can't find our way So here we stay Good man gone bad Feeling like he's been had No difference between right or wrong Trying just to stand strong World's tension is about to break Someones bound to make a mistake Snap Crap Screaming for this or that While all the time passing the hat Haters pocket getting fat Uncertainty fills the air Life never promised to be fair Peace by fear To the future we shed a tear We fight No clue who is right So confusing Mankind is loosing Of our own choosing We are walking The voices in charge of talking Lead us in the wrong way Yet we can't stay Lost in today Lost in the riddle Somewhere in the middle The answer lies As time flies Yesterday now looks so clear I fear The answers come to late To change fate At any rate Growing pains is what we feel With compassion we shall heal The painful step into tomorrow A step closer to a time of no sorrow This is what I see My opinion of how things be
