Pick Your Poison
Pick your poison, it’s time for you to die, don’t stand there crying like a little girl blubbering and asking why Do you want it to be fast, or do you prefer me to go slow? Oh, to hell with it it’s my choice not yours I think I will pick the poison that I know The poison that I have named I Love You, but I must leave, you know this game my love you created it and once played it with me First, we’ll start off with a little teaser that I like to call let’s get close, we’ll tell each other all of the secrets, you know the ones that we harbor inside that we never want anyone to know Let’s tell each other that we love each other as we lie here on this bed, and look deeply into one another’s eyes believing every word that we both have said Let’s take off all of our clothes and lie here together in this bed of sin, and place kisses upon each other’s body, you do remember this game don’t you, the one that we played back then And once we’re done let’s embrace one another and slow dance like we used to do, and you can lie to me once more about how I am your dream come true Kiss my lips and tell me that I will be your wife, but don’t forget as I turn away and break away from your arms to stab me in the back with your knife Call me up and tell me that you can’t do this anymore, that it’s just too hard, that going back to your other life you have seen that you need a new start Oh, not a new start with me, no I was just a fun time back then to be had, oh am I getting to you I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you mad How does it feel to look at the person the one that you broke into, how does it feel to know that you’re the reason they gave up and now you’re in the predicament that you’re in because you couldn’t just tell the truth Well get ready I have one last surprise in store for you, that life that you thought you had well guess what the jokes on you I told her not just a little bit here and there, I told her everything that you never wanted her to know, oh come on don’t be scared You wanted this didn’t you, for us to be together until the end, well your wish is about to come true, well part of it is my story it’s only starting to begin See this is my dream now because the one that I wanted, you turned into a nightmare, and now all of our lives are ruined all because you make believed that you cared So, my love drink your poison, I hope that it burns as it goes down oh so slow, I’m going to make sure that you suffer as I have, only a little more And the best part is her and I we both get to watch as you die, there will be no tears shed for you at least not from my eyes I want you to writhe in pain over all that you once did to me, as the poison takes over your system just think about how different things could have gone if you wouldn’t have messed with me Does it hurt, is it becoming hard for you to breathe, I honestly want to help you but what did you ever do for me I have the anecdote to cure you, but I really don’t want to you see, why should you get to live when the version that I once was died long ago all because you lied and told me that you loved me.
