Your Life Review
The Mayans, Egyptians, Aztecs, and more: Civilizations since Adam and Eve had their philosophies of where souls go. They all needed something in which to believe. Cain killed his brother and that was the start of envy and greed and man’s falling away. It’s a very sad fact that many will sin. Temptations lure them; from goodness they stray. Is there a book as some ancients believed in which deeds are written which later we’ll view? From those who face death and come back from it, many make mention of a life review. They tell about being with an entity of radiant love as their whole life they see. It goes very fast. All the good and the bad is laid out for them like fast-forward TV! Some have explained they reviewed their life twice. Their life’s big achievements and later the "all". First trophies, rewards, and advances they made. But what they saw second made those things seem small. The second review of their life showed each act of real love and kindness that they had shown to family, friends, neighbors and strangers. By our good works, our true selves are known. These Near Death Experiencers learn what most matters. Their earthly achievements don’t mean so much compared to the good works that they had done such as the lives they were able to touch. This time of year is a good time to ponder our Lord and Redeemer’s great sacrifice. Forget your possessions and what gives you pride. Would your life review be one mostly nice?
