Dear Donald
The sky paints you, On the day that you died, And left me with grief so blue. And I cried and cried and cried. The sky is not purple or red. It's the color of my tears that I shed. When I look at the sky and think of you, The color is of your eyes, so deep blue. The sun is setting, depicting Your golden hair. The clouds are revealing and lifting Your heart so fair. The day is gone and the night is here, Bringing your memories and tormented tears. If only I could give, The love to make you live, The life that you deserved, To feel welcomed and loved. I miss you every day. I hope you're okay, Wherever you are, So near or so far, Or the shining star At night, I see from afar. Maybe it's you, Or it's just hue, That reminds me of you. That star is so you, It does things you used to do. It smiles at me, Like I'm the only one there to see. It tells me stories, Like you used to tell all your glories. I just listen and look, Every now and then, Feeling a little shook.
