thinking about Fractured Fairytales
trapped in skeletal arms of the wolverine forest, I crave rose-scents from the corpse crescent, seeing through the portal of pained pupils, written with cinder-gold between lethal lines of nostalgic nightfall, about sunsets woven in angst, from stone-cold tears s u p p r e s s e d within crawling clouds before onyx rain… and must I scribble sonnets of sorrow and hurt~ while aching to kiss the poisoned lips of midnight? for in your quivering verses of unrequited stars, I taste lavender in tender musings, I feel the liquid warmth of 4 a.m. thoughts, I hear the flow of forsaken dreams amidst this sky-cradled prison, caging my silenced skin from breathing beyond twigs of thorns, suffocating me with inked love and unbreakable longing, the moon still knows I cannot live if I were to rise every dawn without the mellifluous m u s i c of twin flames caressing the cashmere air in soulful resonance, as if there is no escape from destined darkness, when love is a feathered fern in the weary wilderness, painting a panorama of fractured fairytales from fervent fingertips of how, once upon a spring luna, we built an amethyst-dusted home and called it "l i f e" whilst karma crippled the claws of time, and still, your name I wear… perhaps, one day, I will be more than a chained bride to misery and loneliness married to ghosts of willows and oaks crowned with cues of confusion draped in mellow memories~ like a tree-mannequin awaiting the truth of twilight, forever yours...
