One Captured Moment
In retrospect, I should have paused this poetic video. Were I a musician, I would put this moment to music. Had I done so, there would have been permeating and heart felt words flowing from the deepest portals of my heart. It was a live medical scene involving my doctor, an RN, and one other medical personnel. I saw the live scene today, but it was later this evening when I felt the full impact. And when I mused upon and felt that moment that took place several hours ago, tears filled my eyes. I was overwhelmed with the reality of three people in one room, all of whom were centered upon my personal care. I am not certain that this was the first time, but today, I felt the power of their caring medical embrace. I am certain that they did not feel as did I, because this is their life. They do it with a sense of mission and purpose. As a result, I and hundreds more are the richer for it. As I look back in my mind's storage bind, I only wish that I had said, "Please, Dr. Jones, can we pause this moment. I must share with you, just now, how the engaging presence of you and your medical team is speaking to me". No photograph was required, but the picture of the four of us has arrested and captured me; and I tell you, the power of that fleeting moment will linger and endure for the rest of my life. I do not know if medical teams like them ever hear such words from their patients, but I am compelled to let them know that I was greatly impacted by their care. There were also three others occupied with my care. Much love and respect to them as well. No. There was not a troubling scene causing stress or worry. However, to me, there was simply that special moment that said, "We got this". May the first mentioned three, who were at the same time in the room speaking of my health issues with me, be made to realize that their dedicated and caring work has been duly noted by me. 032525cj
