Revenge is like eating poison and waiting for the other person to die. This is the best way to describe getting even. It can be sheer suicide. Vengeance is a dish best served cold. I don’t like my food cold in most cases. So, it doesn’t sound good to me. With age comes wisdom. I am old, so I hope I have enough wisdom not to eat poison or cold food or lose an eye taking an eye.
