My crazy hairy Bigfoot buddy, so tall, Roams through the trees, answering nature's call. He sneaks to my backyard as moonlight breaks, Together we play by the silvered lakes. When the world is cloaked in the nighttime's shroud, We laugh and hide beneath the clouds. A game of hide-and-seek begins, Though Bigfoot cheats—he always wins! Not a soul knows what we share, These moonlit moments, rare and fair. On fallen logs, we sit and dream, Of whispered stories beyond belief's gleam. Legends of ancient forests and lore, Of lands and times long before. He tells me tales with a feral grin, And I, in awe, soak it all in. Sometimes we feast on secret treats, Honeyed berries and nutty sweets. So please don’t be jealous, don’t despair, For this friendship is ours to bear. My backyard forest, both strange and grand, Holds the wonder of a creature unplanned. My hairy buddy, my midnight friend, Our adventure is one that will never end. So next time you hear a rustle or sound, Think of the magic that just might be around. For deep in the shadows, where mystery lies, A Bigfoot may smile with his twinkling eyes.
