Aunties and Uncles, nephew, nieces and cousins And their girl and boy friends. Grand children and great grandchildren, One of them was even 'bun in oven'. So many of them. Even from Europe joined through Face Time. All was here to greet each other, Delivered the best wishes and congratulations. They dressed in their best outfit. Red packets, Angpows and Lixi, Danced across the room to reach the children. They were happy and could get rich from receiving money. Most of us sat in the lounge room, Few worked in the kitchen, To prepare the special New Year treats, All the food has no meat., Everyone happy to share the munching moment. Lot of biscuits, lollies and sweets, Wrapped in well wishes plastic. They were placed in the hexagon container, disappeared bit by bit. It was the atmosphere that I enjoyed most, today.
