The Emperor's New Shows
Day One... Chapter Two... of Political turmoil throughout the land. Where Felonious Trump takes to his throne, Right along with the rest of his MAGA band. It's still hard to believe for some, That millions of Americans voted him in. As if the first time wasn't enough, So his convictions can start again. Yet for millions of others there's Only fear, that guides the countries way. Since the art of his deals knows few brush- Strokes, just finger-painting to play. With bullying and intimidation as the favorite Colors, the divide will surely only grow. Such that the wealthy will prosper and Concentrate, while the poor can only slow. The next four years, for some will be dramatic, While many others will feel only despair. Because the scales of righteousness are unbalanced, And the moral compass spins wildly in the air. My greatest wish is that I am wrong in this preview, And I can continue to easily laugh and sing. But this history has taught a lesson to be skeptical, From a man who sees himself ... as a King.
