Birthday eve
Last night, eve of my birthday. Planned to say proper goodbye, not only to him, But also my last 21+ evening. Went to his place after night fall, Strolled up and down along the front gate. Had no courage to knock on the door. Just starring at the room on the right, Behind the Venetian blind, The amber light filled up the room, Where I could vividly imagine, He was sitting behind the flimsy metal study desk, Which he bought from IKEA, Surely he was working for more ideas, How to complete his new project. Since knowing him January last year, He has been visiting his second home, Sitting in front of the computer. To gain access to the internet. Day in day out, from Monday to Saturday, As long as the venue was available, He would be there working hard, To raise awareness of the issues of the government. Have I been wasting my time? Waiting for him to spend some quality time It was hard to say, Because, for days, After leaving his second home, He always came to my place. How I missed all those time together. Now, all those days only existed in my memory. After half an hour, I walked away, Let him get back to his busy night. Without able to say to him "night night, sleep tight don't let bug bite. Goodbye my 21+, goodbye for sure".
