Everlasting
You wake up in the morning light, stretching your woolly arms to be rested. Straightening your spineless back, to be taller than what you are. Small but strong, you gaze still at the surroundings, waiting for the offers of today. Humbled by the buzzing bee, he flies above and taunts you for your lack of beauty. But courage always forbade him to take your growing sweets. But other days your kindness makes you weak; allowing the ants to pick your leaves to make their homes strong. Nobel you feel, for you know a part you is protecting lives. But when the night comes, you tend to be daring; reaching to the dark sky, so you could be one of the many stars. How you wish to be a part of someones life, you shall not care of being picked, even if it slowly takes away your life. For even when you leave the ground your consistency will show, your color stays bright and your hide will not dry. In your name it was always known, that you are an everlasting flower.
