The Great Oppression
This the great oppression, only the strong survive/ Never let them press you, stay strong or die/ Make them respect you, you gotta get it how you live/ In the field, it's real, so I can't chill/ Officers caution us, they feel we tough enough/ Behind closed doors and restraints, they tough as us/ Administration Segregation is a safe prison/ I won't lie, it's safe for officers and offenders/ Prison snitches, the ones who help run the prison/ Is also the same people who help fund the prison/ Working free labor five days a week/ With no complaints, even though they working for free/ In the free world, they work for a fee and complain/ They brainwashing dudes and don't have a shame/ We like it, they love it, that's how the free world see it/ Over the years, I seen the strongest minds go weak/ Everyday, I tell myself stay strong till the end/ And in the end I shall overcome and get me a win/ I'm in a prisoner state of mind to oppress the oppressor/ And in the great oppression, I'm the aggressor/ I'm not here to shake the world, I'm here to awake the world/ And in the end, I'm hoping to shape the world/ To a place I can stay, with all my people/ Where all the normal stuff that we do won't be seen as evil/ And I won't have to keep dodging prison/ Where I'm locked in a box with all of my enemies/ Those wannabe friends hate me behind my back/ Working with the State to take me off my mat/ The same dudes I put my life on the line for/ Is the same dudes who will give me up/ So they testifying against me for a sentence reduction/ And got the nerve to get on stand, looking reluctant/ People wonder why I walk around here looking heartless/ And I'm wondering why they can't walk it like they talk it/ I can't cry because it's just two tears in a bucket/ But it's all part of the game, and I'm screaming my lungs out/ Because I never done the crime/
