Writing
Don't know if people like what I have to say I'm not writing for pay So I write my own way In my mind I find A swirling Whirling Chaotic mess of a brain Chances are I may be insane Words like a tornado go slamming around This chaos has no sound Memories of some gone yesterday As a child at bay Dim vision of a coming tomorrow This will be a land of great sorrow Maybe it is my madness I try not to feel sadness Sorting it out my head Keeps me from wanting to dead Keeps me grounded While my brain is being pounded Though I'm sometimes lost My heart never will frost No matter the cost Words keep me sane Life is to blame So many thoughts Tatters or totts With a body at peace and a brain at war I caught the train to never more To a place a heart can soar I went and found my way home Too tired to roam Found my family loves this mad hatter And I'm getting fatter So many thoughts running through my mind I find I write them all out Before I start to shout I write so many a word They may never be heard I write for me So easy to see But no matter what I write I'd prefer to be a light I refuse to use my words too Spread hate This I state It is not open for debate
