In a carefully woven tapestry of illusions, words dance on the political stage
In a carefully woven tapestry of illusions, words dance on the political stage, where euphemisms wear their shining masks, dressing promises like festive garments, and voters, caught in their spell, float on waves of fragile hopes, seeking in the distance the silhouettes of democracy and freedom, like ships navigating seas of uncertainties, where the shifting winds of public opinion demand their tribute of naivety. Under the cloudy sky of political speeches, towers of gilded words rise, each phrase a step towards a throne of unfulfilled dreams, and among them, a voice is heard, calling to the polls with honeyed whispers, "Vote for democracy!" it says, but its echo does not bear the weight of truth, only the illusion of a fabricated ideal, which unravels under the cold light of reality. And in this chaos of rhetoric, euphemisms are falling stars, leaving trails of light across the dark sky, but when their brilliance is spent, only the ashes of broken promises remain, and under this rain of lies, we, who believed, turn our eyes to the ground, searching in vain for traces of lost integrity. Yet, beyond the words, the truth hides, like an underground river winding beneath the shell of promises, a truth that raises its head only in the whispers of the disillusioned, who now look toward the gray horizon of an unfulfilled democracy, dreaming of a change that delays its arrival, for euphemisms have woven too dense a web, and we, trapped in their snares, lose our voices in the deaf chorus of a world that refuses to listen.
