stardust on autumn leaves
"Listen to the wind it talks. Listen to the silence it speaks. Listen to the heart it knows." Quote - Ancient Indian Saying it was a picturesque windy day that I was walking in the mellow autumn the birds were singing a sonata she was lingering her departure gradual I stopped to watch leaves falling from a tree crisp golden and red fluttering down akin to teardrops they glimmered like stardust touched with magic my heart was holding so much pain I was wishing for some stardust to fall on me perhaps the magic would heal my shattered heart imagine the distant stars that appear as dust falling all the way to earth that night I dreamt of my poor kitty I prayed she made it past the stardust into the arms of God such a long journey for a little cat as I lay in my bed I watched the leaves swaying and drifting away twirling, swirling, whirling touched by gentle rain that made all the different hues sparkle and as I slept stardust fell on me and I heard a distant familiar meow in a trance I went outside and it was snowing delicate snowflakes fragile as stardust gentle and I swirled in the autumn snow I twirled and whirled in the stardust and she appeared to me her soft fur touched by the stardust her little wings pretty I picked her up and held her close to my heart and she purred me a sweet song when, I woke I knew she had reached her destination beyond the stardust of autumn leaves
