LETTING GO
Letting go … such is optimistic response to an inevitability turning blues toward radiant hues while creating goodness of vibrancy transforming frustration toward goodness glow. Letting go … such is welcoming with awesome anticipation freedom of jubilant engagement with life’s reality along sweet blissfulness bringing joyous consequence. Letting go … such is focusing to another perspective midst prayerful paradigm shift smiting skepticism gripped by doubt while championing trust in the Sovereign Lord. Letting go… such is viewing with faith an accident midst learning circumspectly along discretion that those I hold tight with grip so ardent may break me, leaving deep hurt. Letting go… such makes me thank God Who knows what is best since nothing slips from His hand as He holds me within His love protected within His mighty fortress*. Letting go… such leads me toward pressing on bouncing forward against delusion while reaching-out midst serene hope spreading kindness by grace divine. *Psalms 18:2 “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” November 5, 2024 2nd place, "Shikata ga nai" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Silent One; judged on 11/10/2024
