I remember the silence of nights where the wind whispers forgotten secrets, how it wraps us in its cloak of stars, trying to tell us that happiness can hide in the simplest things, like a smile from the sun sneaking through heavy clouds, or in the rustle of leaves dancing to the silent rhythm of time. But they, those men, did not hear these songs, were deaf to the delicate symphony of nature, blind to the light piercing inner shadows, searching in vain for a brilliance that no longer seemed theirs. And perhaps therein lies the tragedy, in the inability to gather joy from simple things—a bird soaring high, a child laughing, a moonbeam carving its way through an open window, while they, lost in the labyrinth of thoughts, forgot to look at the sky, to open their hearts and let happiness rain down, to feel how even the smallest joys can withstand the wave of sorrows that inevitably comes to overwhelm us, but which we must learn to navigate, for life is a vast and ever-changing ocean, full of mysteries and wonders waiting to be discovered by our eyes hungry for light. So as the night falls like a veil over the world, all we have left is to remember, to learn to look, to listen and to love, for in the end, only thus can we find the strength to embrace each day with the hope that the sun will rise again, and that we will be there, ready to receive its warmth.
