Witch’s Bloom
When an ordinary Mister met his Mrs., how he kissed her, Unaware, his bride’s twin sister was, in fact, a wicked witch. Shame on her for not confiding such a secret she was hiding, Adding fuel and further guiding her own sister’s little itch. Springtime wedding on the menu, stunning bride, a perfect venue, But before we will continue, here’s what sparked the evil plan: See, the bride was kind and giving, while the witch stayed unforgiving, In the shadows, darkly living, as her sister got the man. Jealousy began to hound her, evil thoughts grew strong around her, Till the witch, unruly, found herself a spell to quench her thirst. And her sister started fearing, with a pattern now appearing— All her lovers– disappearing by October thirty-first. At the very first detection of her sister’s felt affection, She would nurture her collection and fulfill a garden’s need. Halloween, the spell did call for, with a mask each man would fall for, And she’d laugh as they grew small, for they’d shrink down into a seed. Yes, with pride and much elation, she would sentence their damnation, Planting seeds of her creation in a garden bound for doom. And with every witching hour, jealousy increased her power; Garden thriving, for each flower trapped a living man in bloom. Let’s fast forward to that venue, springtime wedding, lovely menu, And a wicked witch continues planning, gazing at his ring. She’ll be patient, with good reason- cast her spell in planting season, And that witch will find it pleasing when that Mister blooms next spring.
