Time is irrelevant; determination is the only thing that matters. I must survive. So I climb; I am a mountaineer, taking each step, no matter how far the fall. Until I feel it - a gentle breeze, a whisper of relief washing over me, gravity no longer my adversary. It’s over, I did it. A wide smile appears on my face, and as I stand at my summit, the world sprawling below, victorious in my ascent, my worries are no longer here. I take in the view, I pause and I breathe.
