In the 1970s early two contractors worked around Southern 'New South Wales' and Gundagai town.' Stationed at the riverside park, at the rear of a garage With pit and pumps all as part, now Tom and Matt Got a surprise..One of their machines got shuggared Inside.' You might know of what i talk? A compeditor Wanted their buisness to walk.' Conversation over they Wen't to bed agreeing an early tommorow the sky was red' At the week end the owner came calling told them to see His son.' They thought maybe it was too appalling.? When they entered the garage that machine was humming This blind mechanic's work was stunning the thing looked Better than ever before..And his price was modest..They Offered him more' look take double mate your worth each Cent.' No you got treated bad and you're paying dad rent I didn't feel happy it happened in my town, whoever it was Let Gundagai down.' Well i've pulled it apart and cleaned Each tube, as far as engines go, its health should stayj rude They said you're one i a million mate, no one could do Better, you fingers worked wonders, to the T if not better We're glad to know you. Your a credit to this town twenty Galah's like the one who did this.' Won't damage its Reknown.' Well they often told that tale o'er the years how A hero mechanic, allayed any fears, how they did the job And paid their way, thanks to an everyday hero down Gundagai way.'
