My African heritage
#My_African_heritage In my ears, I hear a drum beat, the sound points my listening ear to Congo, its effects echoing with my heart beat, although I'm taking a walk, this beat want me to sit down and just listen to Africa speaking. While in my caught up thoughts, lifting my head to see clear the road I'm walking on, in the near far distance of Kenya, I hear my standing ground in vibrational sequence, getting lost worse in my African exploring intrigues, I see the Masai people jumping up and down, I realize now that the Congo drum beat has dancers, Africa tab me from behind, my name means peace, in Africa such seeds are born everyday, from mothers. Genesis says Africa you are Alfa and omega, my minds attest and say in you life was formed and the earth knew what human was, though you are silent, your history makes all the necessary noises, your are a heritage in flesh Back on my walk, these forests guarding my road too, speaks, though the sound indistinct, some peculiar sound compels me to pay attention, this time with intention of understanding, are birds of Africa passing melodic whistles to each other like soccer players in the field, this serenading, reach to my heart like art, I wanna start reciting too But the road still long, time is just against me and my expressions, Heard in South Africa; people draw masterpieces of art with their tongues, just listen to Xhosa people clicking their tongues and Khoisan man in the deserts saying you just can't compete with your fathers, and he release the most trickiest tongue clicking sounds, and now tell me if this is not art, African heritage. My walk was to Limpopo and there I'm welcomed by Khelobedu people, in their mouths I hear African guitarist playing a song of love, hope and harmony, I now can sit down and have my African heritage served. #Poetic_Ink
