If I was going to get any shelter, it might be from here. I lifted the knocker. Knock. Knock. Knock. There was no reply so I turned to leave. A creaking noise changed my direction. A green gob ghostie opened the door. He had a donkey face and elephant ears. His skin fur was sticky looking; he was green all over. He turned his red eyes on me and I nearly lost my lunch. I wanted to scream, but my voice had caught. I could not make a sound. He beckoned me forward. As if I was hypnotized, my traitorous feet walked toward him. I was astounded and terrified. Out of control, as if mesmerized, his puppet. I felt a horrified gulp in my throat as I entered the threshold. The green gob ghostie indicated I was to sit in the corner. He fed me tasty bowls of soup; I could not get enough I fell asleep on a sticky green cushion in the corner. Hoping not to wake up until he had finished with me. Wondering whether my body would ever be found. When I awoke, he was gone I was being watched by a giant black bear If you thought I was terrified before You cannot imagine my feelings now…..
