ROBERT SHERRIFF Before the next teardrop falls
Robert Sherriff?-?Nobody's Home?-?poet?-?author?-?singer-actor?-?model?-?Historian Robert Sherriff?-?Before the next teardrop falls Mine eyes and heart are at war with thy mind, My tears that fall are no longer mine. It all started when my heart was broken. Thou used me well, like a cook with a chopping block, Cutting me into millions of tiny bits, then spat me out the back door.  Not even the king's men shall put me back together again. Thou came, took, and walked out the front door like a thief in the night, Leaving me alone in'2' the darkness with nothing but the echoes of our shattered love and what could have been so much more.  How does one mend a broken heart? Ask the boys Robin, Maurice, and Barry. Alas, even my soul seeks to disown thee, for evil shall seek you out. Yet the one thing thou could not take was my soul, where thou thought conquest lay within thy sight. Were ya stripped me naked as much as the day I was born?  I could and would never trust you again. My eyes, my heart, and soul reveal a picture grander still, Showing how much of a loser thou ar within all your gutter trash ways. I am enraged. I did not see it coming; all I did was trust thee. But now, that trust lies shattered, like my heart, at thy feet. Then thou broke my heart.  My heart would repair itself once I found a new love. I saw the evil in thine eyes, piercing as the gates of hell. The same eyes that once held love and tenderness now bore into me with a cold, heartless gaze. I won't make any plea, nor do I want thee back. I am determined to move on, to find my path?-?someone over your age.  I am now going out with Carol, who is nineteen years old, which makes you 24 years older. She is blonde, good, loving, and sparkly in her eyes, and she loves me for me. Dream lover, walk, talk, and marry me. Goodbye, have a good life, and goodbye and good luck.
