Faded Hue of Pale
Based on the song, Whiter Shade of Pale Sung By Glenn Hughes ___________________________ Faded Hue of Pale We twirled in a wild Spanish dance, spinning in circles on the floor, I was becoming white and ill. And all the people yelled for more, as the place was clapping loudly, and my mind was blown away. I really wanted more booze, and it came with no delay. And a long time after, the bartender told a tale; that the dancers were phantasmal, and were a faded hue of pale. He spoke, "It has no sense, facts obvious to spot !" So, I roamed among that wild wanton crowd. And I wished to embrace one, yes one of the vulgar, lustful men; but his hand was dead like a rock. And with perception wavering, I could have been in a bad dream. And a long time after, the bartender told a tale; that the dancers were phantasmal, and were a faded hue of pale. And a long time after, the bartender told a tale; that the dancers were phantasmal, and were a faded hue of pale. Or, maybe seemed a faded hue of pale, in the dimness, yeah, a faded hue of pale.
