SENIOR CITIZEN
Another year has passed Another day had passed I know I'm a little bit older This guy has a bad leg and shoulder It was not so long ago my life was a blast There were so many women I could attract Now I have this baldness and gray hair And losing hearing in one ear Many of my teeth are missing It seems like each month one is always disappearing I guess this senior life I was never really prepared My early life to my senior life I can't even compare I know all my hard-working years are gone Now that I wake up every day at dawn I don't want to think my life is useless But sometimes this senior life I'm just clueless I feel my mind is good But for some reason, I feel insecure I could always remember the old memories Back to the sixties and seventies And the next thing I forgot is what you told me To a certain degree As a senior, citizen my money is limited So spending my money becomes interesting I'm not as strong as I used to be But I feel I can still hold up to a certain degree I'm still around and I think there is so much I love to give still And other goals I still have to achieve I guess me being a senior In the long run, I just wanted to be a leader I guess there is no other person That I would ever trade places with I still have much to offer and give
