To make you mine? You walked in How long did I yearn? a tight tiny door How long did I pray? took your hand How long did I learn cutup dance floor To love you this way? sardines in a can. Crazy got crazier I thought that I'd forget you, the front rush up But I never did. the back was there I thought that I'd regret you, and we all got stuck But I never did. in a middle square. We closed our eyes How long did I dream? the gals and guys How long did I cry? in the confusion How long did I scheme its just an illusion To make you mine? Twas our pastime yours and mine we were extreme and all is fine I seem to deem the dance theme “How Long Did I Dream”
