Have the congress and the USA forgotten about that? Have individuals forgotten about that? Well, I personally feel that we should all go back and review it again and again. We MUST remember that Freedom comes from God, because wherever the Spirit of God is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17), and whoever the Son (Jesus) sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). But freedom is won with sacrifice. Sacrifice is a God-given value, and God's Word brings meaning and honor to the sacrifices of both His Son and our soldiers. All of us have someone in the past doing wars has made sacrifices for our freedom today. All parties in the USA MUST remember that we would not have freedom today if sacrifices has not been done yesterday for today which is 'The FutureNow'. What we do NOW will determine WHO and WHAT we will be TOMORROW, because 'The Future is Now'. That is the way I see it. Does this make sense to you?
