Lost And Alone Again
Slowly making its way from behind The shadows of the trees, I see a ray of light, a beam of hope To fulfil our needs. The light of a blessing that was spoken so long ago A light that had laid dormant all for all these years why I do not know. Locked in the hopes and dreams of all of us who can recall, Remembering those who answered the call. The call to band together and to carry on, Only sadly one day that light was gone. The idea, the belief, the reason long gone. That spark of light never seemed to come back again, And we mourn for it as one mourns a long lost friend. And now I wonder as I see this tiny beam of hope work its way through The trees, Is this the one we have been waiting for Is this the one who will lead? Will he bring back the passion and the ideals we have kept deep within? Or will we just continue to stumble Lost and alone again.
