We play a game of hide and seek, Laughter fills the air, cheek to cheek, Amongst the hiding places, kids' innocence never leaves, We find our joy, seeking each other, where no one grieves. In the bush, a gentle stir, A fawn peeks out, so soft, demure, With wide, enchanting, curious eyes, And ears so big, to our surprise. Its gaze, a spell of purest grace, So innocent, it lights the place, Captivating every heart, In nature’s tender, loving art. Young rabbits hop in veggie patches, Their play a sight that brightly catches, Nibbling greens and leaping high, Underneth the open sky. Squirrels dart from tree to tree, With acorns clutched, so wild and free, Their nimble dance, a fleeting flash, Through branches thick, they quickly dash. In the urban forest, we hid behind bushes, As the woodland creatures played tricks up their sleeves. The fox sneaked by, with a mischievous grin, While the owl watched, perched on a limb. The rabbits darted, their cotton tails in flight, While the butterflies fluttered, a colorful sight. With the baby's laughter and the animals' play, We found joy in each passing day. In the bush, we discovered a world so rare, Where love, laughter, and innocence shared.
