Food For Thought
Grocery shopping seems to now have become a stressful event The cost of food seems to be rising daily with more money having to be spent Our very existence relies on what we have to eat, not that bottle of wine People who give out those free samples, we have to jostle just to get in line Items that are on sale disappear as fast as they hit the shelves I think it is time to get some help, possibly from Santa's elves Some individuals seem to think their shopping carts are go-carts as they weave in and out of aisles Remember the days you could exchange pleasantries and people would crack a smile Money may not be able to buy you happiness but it should be able to put nourishing food on the table Being able to afford things that are essential for some has become a crisis, not a modern-day fable Business owners are certainly allowed to make a profit However, lining their pockets while emptying ours seems to be somewhat dishonest
