Do We Ever
Do we ever see beyond cupid's arrow? after the potion sinks in can we really differentiate from the shallow thoughts? When we fall out of love do we realize what is really being lost? Does a physical attraction bring in an end to a friendship that would've been epic? when the feeling is platonic why are there so many skeptics? I wonder now why we liked each other? does falling in love take away from really getting to know one another? It's when I stopped loving you that I realized we never could have even been friends divorce is bitter til the very end I lost myself in you and you lost yourself in me but we were never completely whole people separately do we ever take the time to let love simmer down just for a second so we can see who we really have around?
