Unto His likeness
In that day, when seeking Gods word. For, purpose in this life not expecting much. Growing up in church following along. Mom, would say you need to go church to be good. Great grandma saying shhhh, you in God's house. Digging into her purse to give me peppermint. As, getting older thinking maybe I am good still showing up. But what about everyone else outside these walls. How could I fathom everyone else in flames. Its not within me to think I am any better. Just for showing up to please family. This preacher could be standing in hell, While preaching all others into hell. So, as a teen learning more of worldly ways. Beginning, to see how could this be of God. Falling into the deception of idols and false thinking. That we all belong to God, just don't worship Satan. So, I must be doing good then, without church. For, in church this hatred towards races and people. Would be the same as on the outside. One day in young twenties, had a job working. On the Mississippi river would be gone for a month At a time, great for me to get away from bad habits Granddad ,had gotten all grandchildren Bibles One Christmas, so you know the excitement from this we all would have from what we had seen in this world teachings of living and believing in God. So, I would put mine in the bag I would carry on my trips on the river, one night bored and thinking. What is the purpose of this life, why can't I just not Care like others and live from day to day . As, I began to read these red letters of Jesus, a light shined into the heart , mind and soul awakening a spiritual force. Overflowing of the Holy Spirit, that would begin To guide, comfort, and fill with an inexpressible Joy, peace and Love for all to come to know this. Casting out the worldly spirit ways and purifying Into, what God would have me to be. Remember thinking why is not everyone talking About, God everyday , all day the only Love to fill this empty void all souls are seeking for. But Satan has blinded people as myself before. Into, making themselves their own corrupt god Now, in seeing Jesus died that we might Be purified into A Child of the Living God. Seeing the inner beauty flowing throughout. For all to become in Unity of One God, One Shepherd, One Flock. But this only comes by giving all glory to God and the Son, he sent to be crucified to return in the hearts of mankind to resurrect this new spiritual living body of the One and only true God. That we become a dwelling of God's spirit. Not a mountain top are church made by hands, But by the hands of God to bury the old self. That, we might become purified into the likeness of Christ. This tree reminds me of me being pruned and starting over, saying God my hands are tied up behind my back, mold and form me into your liking of what Jesus died for that we might become.
