Simple Question
So what its morning and the sky is clear? The dark cloud in my mind still remains. So what I give you a smile at your jokes? Its frozen by the invisible ice from my heart. So what it's warm outside and laughter is all around? The nightmare from the night before is giving me chills. So what my eyes are looking straight at you? How do you know I'm not blind by my own painful memories? So what I'm watching the world around and point out the beauty? I'm looking at the thorns and pricks that makes my heart ache. So what I'm in this spot and I look peaceful from your point of view? You see a mask that I had put on this morning to hide from all of you. So you wouldn't see the cloud that slithers about my mind, The ice that crawled across my lips, The quivers and shakes in the warm sun, My blinded eyes that plays out my memories, And the harsh world in its flowy gown. What I see and what you see is two different things. So why assume from the way I'm looking to figure who I am. So what I'm stuck in a place with all these feelings? So what I'm sitting here trying to scratch out the pain? So what I'm laughing to cover up my silent screams? So what I look so happy that there's nothing wrong with me to you? So what? The response to it is to really know how to break this spell.. So..whats up?
