Anger's Touch - Joy's Decline
In the meadows of contentment, where sunshine did reside, A smile, a gentle brook, with laughter as its tide. Sparkling, and clear, it danced and flowed, a symphony of glee, Reflecting joy in every face, for all the world to see. But shadows crept from distant hills, where anger's storms did brew, The gentle brook began to churn, its waters dark and new. The laughter's song turned harsh and cold, the melody went dry, The smile, once vibrant, now concealed, a tear in every eye. The meadows, once adorned with blooms, turned barren, bleak, and gray, The sun's warm rays, now filtered dim, as happiness slipped away. Lost in the tangled undergrowth, where tangled thoughts reside, The joy that bloomed within the heart, with anger's touch, did die. Yet, hope remains in hidden seeds, though buried deep beneath, Awaiting gentle rain of peace, a nurturing, patient breath. For even storms will lose their hold, and skies will clear once more, And in the fertile soil of time, new smiles and joy will soar. So let us tend the meadows well, with kindness as our guide, And chase the shadows far away, where anger cannot hide. For in the garden of the heart, where laughter seeks to bloom, A gentle touch and understanding can chase away the gloom.
