Thoughts of Things To Come
As she sits alone on the beach she thinks of things to come in her life. She wonders if she will be a good mother, a good wife, sister, daughter, friend, and companion. All she really knows is that the only thing that she can do is try. She has come as far as she can. So she just enjoys her time alone. She will miss the moon and stars as clear as they are over the ocean. She has never been “land locked” her entire life but now it is time to move on. Time to start a new life with the one she loves. This is her good bye to the sea, the salt in the air, and the calming sounds to go with it. She knows that she can always come back to visit but it will never truly be home again. As she says her final goodbyes she stats to tear up. She is terrified of leaving but she knows in her heart that she is doing the right thing. So she leaves with a sadden heart but knows that the things to come will be right. In one way or the other. This leaves her with a radiant smile on her face. All she can think is only the good Lord in heaven will know what’s coming and that she lays it all in His hands. By: Misty Leccese © June 18, 2009 As I wrote this I was thinking back to the time when Nathan and I were being sent up to Little Rock Air Force Base and we were leaving the only place that I had ever really called home, Florida. So before you ask, yes she is me. Lots of Love to all, Misty
