The night before Christmas
Blessings, love, peace and joy to you and your loved ones. The true gift is in the meaning of this Yuletide celebration. Thank you God and Jesus Christ. The night before Christmas By Michelle Morris 24/12/2022 'Twas the night before Christmas A bonny Christmas eve Dark skies with twinkling lights Awaiting reindeer feet They'll fly over the heavens Carry Santa on his sleigh They'll land on many rooftops And bring gifts to everyone But this night isn't about presents It's about the gift of Jesus Christ He came to Earth to save us To help put all our souls right He was sent by God on high The purest gift of forgiveness To remind us of God's favour His love and grace and mercy Tell the children about Jesus How we celebrate His birth Remind them that this celebration Is not just gifts and mirth We remember hope and joy We remember compassion and peace We remember true faith And what this Yuletide means So, tuck the kids in tightly Snug as little bugs Let them dream of kindness Peace and joy; hope and love Thank you to God and Jesus For everything You do We appreciate Your gift We appreciate all You do For the gift is in the giving Of the best of who we are We are all capable of being Pure and bright little stars Like the wise men we'll look up And see the starry skies above We'll place our faith in You And know that we are loved © Michelle Morris, 2022
