Rainfall
Like a rain dance gone wrong Been raining so long The sky is forever crying But I see the sun keeps on trying Now and then it will appear Then comes another tear The rain forest around me Watering every tree Saturating everything I see Waiting for the sun to show Hopefully to see a rainbow Mountain tops covered in fog Sitting here on this wet log Enjoying the view Every day something new Up so high Sitting among the clouds in the sky The rain becomes a wall It seems it should not have far to fall To touch the ground It is like a clapping sound Soaked to the bone I sit here alone This is peace being grown Again comes the sun For a moment it won Ñever to give up trying Because although the sky is crying It will survive the tears Learned over the years Does not always need to shine To feel fine It is always bright Even when you can't see its light That's right
