Another ANGEL appeared to Joseph on three different occasions. The first ANGELIC appearance to Joseph was before the birth of Jesus. Secondly, Joseph was warned by the ANGEL to flee to Egypt to save the life of Jesus. Thirdly, the ANGEL commanded Joseph to return to Judea because it was then safe to do so. I feel certain that all ANGELS have names, but to us nearly all are nameless. Although Gabriel and Michael are well-known ANGELS, all ANGELS have responsibilities and important jobs to perform. Gabriel was assigned to the Virgin Mary and also to Zacharias. We don't know why, but the wise men were led, not by ANGELS, but by a star, and later communicated to, not by ANGELS, but in their dream.
