If in the midst of the silence We deep open our ears And ponder on our existence We may a thin voice hear. If with a calm serenity We muse with peering sense, With mindful serenity We may learn life`s essence. If in the pitch of solitude We peer at our own soul, We may feel a deep quietude In our mind as a whole. If in the peak of stern stillness We scan the inner self, We may view a gleam of brightness That longs to guide ourselves. In the depth of the inner self Lies some gentle brethren Very much akin to ourselves And a tender human. The inner self is like a pond Reflecting man`s image, Cherishing human love and bond. All throughout the ages.
