Snow leopards
Snow leopards are beautiful, wild animals that are endangered due to poaching and habitat destruction. They are not aggressive to humans, which is probably one reason why they're struggling to survive as a species. They deserve our respect, protection and support. Snow leopards By Michelle Morris 12/11/2023 Do you see me? Do you feel my soul? I'm a wild and beautiful creature. I'm born to inspire and empower the world. And yet, you keep me under. My numbers are dropping each year. You encroach on my habitat. You kill me for my coat or from fear. As snow leopards, we are elusive. We are piercing, blue eyed ghosts. We live and love and share our dreams With our loved ones and our ancestors. We deserve our landscape. We deserve our freedom. Our species lives in harmony with you. Please treat us with respect and feelings. One day (soon, we hope) when you learn That you can't eat or breathe your power and greed, I hope you will think back on all the moments When Nature gave you repeated chances to be redeemed. Do you see me? Can you connect with my soul? These photographs may be the last evidence That once in this wild world, I roamed. © Michelle Morris, 2023
