Unfortunately, powerful imperialist countries Have ways to impoverish or use tricky tactics To ambush such noble ideas about human equality In God's name, that all humans are born to be free. I can go on and on, please read fully the history Of Haiti, before throwing the word ‘poverty' In the face of humanity, before adding more misery To the cause or to the throat of a brave land of resiliency. If you knew the true and the unedited story Of such incredible oasis, you'll feel sorry For this Haiti which has been backstabbed by friends And humiliated by enemies with toxic soppy hands. Haiti rightfully earned and deserved a huge break Remove the gooey or baited traps and the wired barriers Let Haitians swim safely, freely and justly in the tropical lake ‘Cause Haiti has to catch up the years in arrears.
