Ice Cream
While vising relatives 2000 miles from home, in no time at all I was placed in my comfort zone. When served dessert with that taste of home, I knew right away that I was where I belonged. By 'Taste of home', I mean the home where I was born. 'Taste of home' is that flavor that you never forget no matter where you presently live or have come to roam. That taste remains whether you move to New York City or Rome. The brand was completely new to me, but that taste had 'back-home' roots and embraced me like a warm blanket. After returning home, I searched for that brand without success in the local market. I later indicated to the relatives that I was glad that the ice cream brand wasn't sold in my hometown, because I would eat far too much of that awesome desert and find myself gaining a hundred pounds. The two flavors I enjoyed most were vanilla bean and black walnut. Both of them had that heavenly taste from above with a wicked temptation from far below.
