Bag of Spiders
The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout. The loss, it had happened quite slowly at first; suddenly she had to be constantly nursed. He held her tremulous hand; blank eyes stared out. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. In a rare lucid moment, to him she said; "It feels like a bag of spiders in my head, they wriggle around inside, kick things about." Then out came the sun and dried up all the rain. "They leave cobwebs on things, so I cannot see what is this, what is that, and what they should be, they sting, fight, bite, and cause incredible pain." So the Itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again. He went, thinking everything he'd done was right; She left to stay, be alone again that night. Slowly, the bag of spiders made their refrain.
